Spend eight hours exploring northern Gran Canaria by air-conditioned bus. Visit a banana farm and the Arehucas rum distillery, then head to Agaete for wine, coffee, local food, and a mojo-making workshop. “The tour takes you all over and it was unsettling to arrive at San Augustín shopping center after having travelled an hour from Las Palmas just to drive back in the direction that I came and beyond the hotel that I was staying. However, It was an enjoyable experience with great information. Tom speaks many languages but it was a lot to keep up with his tandem translations.”
Meet at Valle de Mogán restaurant for a 2.5-hour tasting led in English, Spanish, or Russian. A professional maître sommelier explains Canarian rum, including Arehucas Family Selection and Ron Aldea, while you sample several cheeses. You can add lunch or dinner afterward. At C. de Claudio Coello, 19, learn the story and flavors of Flor de Caña, taste rum straight from an 18-year-old barrel, make a cocktail, and personalize a bottle to take home. This guided, 75-minute experience admits up to 15 people and includes all listed tastings.

At Flor de Caña Experience Madrid, a live Spanish- or English-speaking guide leads you through five generations of family and brand history. You will taste 18-year-old rum from the barrel, mix cocktails, and seal your own 350 ml bottle to take home. The 1.5-hour session is limited to 10 adults.
